I always wanted to be a singer.
But God had a different calling for me. Just ask my
family. I sing well in a large chorus or in the shower (if no one else is home). In time, God revealed that I was
to be a wife, a mother of an entire clan and an author. I have accepted my calling and love every moment of it.
Well, let's be honest - I would do nicely without the bickering. But besides that, it is pure heaven. Actually, I
would never have chosen for some of my children to be ill. But nobody asked me.
For many years, a friend encouraged me to write a book
about raising a large family. Another friend said to write a book about raising three chronically ill children. So
I combined the two ideas and here is the result. It was a long, six-year journey but there was finally a light
